Here is a quick little tidbit that might help out if you are feeling like your motivation is waning. FIRST … you don’t JUST need more discipline … as motivation is part of discipline 🙂 SECOND … do a dopamine detox ~ PUT THE PHONE DOWN and for the love of God stop scrolling lol, stop constantly entertaining yourself with the TV, computer, video games, or tablet. JUST SIT STILL! Perhaps read a book. Watch the clouds. Don’t just mindlessly reach for a smoke, or beer, or soda, or whatever. STOP the automatic reward process that most of us live on every minute of each day. THIRD … Check your fire (language) about what you aren’t motivated about. Most likely, if you are losing motivation for a specific “thing” you are talking negatively about that thing. Change how you talk about it and you will change your motivation toward it.
